Suspect in recent robberies arrested Wednesday

PEORIA (25 News Now) - A man suspected in recent robberies was arrested on various offenses Wednesday.
Desmond M. Turner, 24, was observed Wednesday around 7:36 p.m. standing on the front porch of a home in the 2000 block of South Oregon.
Turner was recognized as a suspect in recent robberies and was immediately detained without incident.
During a search of his residence, officers located several items that connected Turner to recent armed robberies, police said.
He was arrested for armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
