College Hoops Wednesday - Bradley races past Evansville, ISU tops Missouri State in OT, Illinois Wesleyan beats rival Millikin

(25 News Now) - It was a busy night of college hoops around Central Illinois on Wednesday night. In Peoria, Bradley ran their Missouri Valley Conference record to 5-2 with a xx-xx rout of Evansville at Carver Arena. Connor Hickman led the way for the Braves with 15 points. The win was Bradley’s 17th straight at home.

In Normal, Illinois State improved to 3-5 in conference play with a 76-66 win over Missouri State in overtime at CEFCU Arena. Seneca Knight’s 22 points led the way for the Redbirds.

Meanwhile, Illinois added Italian point guard Niccolo Moretti to their roster. He had been training in Australia.

Across town at the Shirk Center, Illinois Wesleyan matched up with rival Millikin in CCIW play. The Fightin’ Titans came away with a 73-68 win behind Ryan Sroka’s 17 points. Bloomington Central Catholic product JT Welch led all scorers with 21 points.
