Harlem Globetrotters 2023 World Tour

The Harlem Globetrotters are making their return to Peoria! Get ready for a good time watching some amazing basketball skills and athleticism from your favorite Globetrotter stars. They will be going head-to-head against the Washington Generals.

When: 3 pm

Where: Peoria Civic Center Arena

2023 Anime-ZAP! Convention

If you’re a fan of anime, check out the Anime-ZAP! Convention. There will be vendors and artists to shop from, cosplayers, dances, Q&As with voice actors, and more! Dress up in your favorite cosplay and enjoy a fun weekend with fellow anime fans.

The Elegant Bridal Expo

Getting married soon? Start planning your wedding at the Elegant Bridal Expo! Over 50 vendors will be in attendance. There will also be inspirational tablescapes, photo booths, and specials to help you save money for your big day.

Pop-Up Cat Cafe

Bear’s Bites & Boutique is teaming up with TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter for a pop-up cat cafe. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee while playing with adorable cats, all of which will be available for adoption.

When: 1 - 3 pm

Free Tree Waste

There will be free tree waste in Pekin starting tomorrow. Help yourself to any Christmas tree resting on the curbs only. They will be first come, first serve. There will be no reserves. Driving and parking on the grass/dirt will not be allowed.

When: January 9, starting at 8 am

Where: Mineral Springs Park in Pekin

Cost: FREE
