Northern Illinois man sentenced to probation in McLean County sex abuse case

MCLEAN COUNTY (25 News Now) - A Harvard, Illinois man has taken a plea deal in a sexual abuse case investigated by Bloomington Police.
Matthew Kiely pleaded guilty to criminal sexual abuse without consent of a young girl in a plea deal that dropped five other charges.
He was sentenced to 30 months sex offender probation and must register as a sex offender.
He is receiving credit for time served, so he is no longer serving time in prison.
