WOODFORD COUNTY (25 News Now) - The Woodford County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information on a young woman with an attempted murder warrant out for her arrest.

Gabrielle L. Sturdivant is alleged to have gotten into her vehicle and approached a victim standing in the parking lot of the Kappa Men’s Club.

A verbal altercation was had between the two - both employees - and Sturdivant is alleged to have driven away striking and running over the victim, fleeing the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies were called to the men’s club at 4:21 a.m. December 4 for the reported hit-and-run, finding an unresponsive female in the parking lot.

The victim was transported by ambulance to a Bloomington hospital.

It was determined there was a dispute between Sturdivant and the other employee outside the club. Staff were able to break out the fight and remove the two to the parking log where it escalated.
