Mild tomorrow, rain returns on Thursday
Highs in the low 50s tomorrow
PEORIA (25 News Now) - Cloudy skies will continue throughout the rest of this evening with a chance for a few showers. Tomorrow will be warmer with some breaks of sunshine before more rain is expected on Thursday. We’ll remain seasonably mild through the end of the week before colder weather returns next week.
This Evening and Tonight:
A few isolated to scattered light showers will be possible this evening through early tonight, but otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies to continue.
We may see some partial clearing overnight and into tomorrow morning with lows near 30.
Keep an eye out for areas of fog tomorrow morning, some of which may be locally dense.
Tomorrow Through Friday:
Expect partly cloudy skies tomorrow with highs near 50.
More clouds will move back into Central Illinois tomorrow night and Thursday ahead of widespread rain during the day on Thursday. Wet weather is expected to move in from south to north during the middle of the morning and it will continue throughout the afternoon and evening.
Showers will begin to taper off Thursday night and Friday morning.
The second half of Friday looks dry. Highs will fall into the low to mid 40s Thursday and Friday afternoon.
This Weekend and Next Week:
Cloudy skies will continue into Saturday with highs in the low 40s. A few sprinkles of light showers may be possible late, but chances are low.
Partly cloudy skies are expected on Sunday. Highs will remain in the 40s Sunday afternoon.
Monday is trending drier, but rain looks possible again next Tuesday. Highs will remain in the 40s through the middle of next week, but 30s are expected to return for the second half of the week.
