Tazewell County Coroner releases more information about fatal crash Tuesday

PEORIA (25 News Now) - Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley said Wednesday the person killed in Tuesday’s deadly crash in rural Morton is an 82-year-old woman from Pekin.
Her name is being withheld pending family notification.
An autopsy was done Wednesday and preliminary findings show her cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the two vehicle crash.
The crash happened Tuesday at 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Harding and Washington roads.
Illinois State Police, the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office are still investigating.
