Bloomington Police release new details after arrests at Target in Normal

PEORIA (25 News Now) - A report of two suspicious vehicles led to three arrests in Normal Monday afternoon.

Bloomington Police were called in to help and noticed one of the vehicles had tape covering its license plate.

Normal Police ran the registration and learned the vehicle was involved in a recent armed robbery in Champaign, Illinois.

17-year-old Keshawn Brown was arrested and was also wanted for murder in Champaign.

40-year-old Charnell Brown and 35-year-old Ashley Wells, both of Champaign, were taken into custody.

Brown faces charges of resisting arrest and obstructing identification.

Wells faces charges of felony retail theft, obstructing justice, and multiple felony warrants from multiple counties.
