UPDATE: Armed subject situation resolved in Bloomington

UPDATE 3:54 P.M. - The Bloomington Police Department says the situation in the 3200 block of Eaglecrest Road has been resolved.
BLOOMINGTON (25 News Now) - The Bloomington Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area of the 3200 block of Eaglecrest Road after responding to a call of an armed subject.
Bloomington Police spokesperson Officer Brandt Parsley says the call came in at 2:49 p.m. for an armed subject barricaded in a home.
Police believe the individual has a pistol and is alone in the home - the person who made the call is outside safe with officers.
Neighbors are being told to stay inside their homes.
Police are hoping for a peaceful resolution.
The department is also asking the public to refrain from posting information that may negatively affect this incident or impact the safety of those involved.
