Gibbs said, “As a music teacher it’s always my goal that when I see these kids for those 40 minutes, that they just get to escape, get out of their desk dance around, play some instruments, sing some silly songs, laugh.”

Music class is much more than just singing she explained, “They’re learning at the same time too. Even if they don’t realize it. We’re talking about history, sometimes there’s even a little math thrown in there. And they don’t even realize it.”
