PEORIA (25 News Now) - The cold and breezy trend continues in Central Illinois. Grab the layers for any evening plans as winds will stay from the northwest between 15-25mph.

Temperatures fall to the low teens tonight, with wind chills in single digits. More sunshine to end the weekend as highs rise to the mid 30s. Winds could gust up to 20mph with wind chills in the afternoon around 10 degrees below the actual temperature.

Temperatures will return to average for the this time of year to start the week. Highs in the upper 40s, low 50s through Wednesday. Our next system moves in, just in time for Thanksgiving, bringing the chance of rain on Thursday, with the possibility of a rain/snow mix into Black Friday. Highs go from the upper 40s on Thanksgiving to the low 40s by Friday.
