2 arrested after gun fired during altercation

BLOOMINGTON (25 News Now) - A gun fired during an altercation did not injure anyone, but two people were arrested as a result.

Bloomington residents Robert White and Shikyra Johnson were both arrested after Bloomington Police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Locust Street.

Officers located a firearm, magazine and other evidence that a shot(s) fired occurred, according to police.

White was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/no FOID.

Johnson was arrested for aggravated assault/discharge of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, battery, aggravated use of a weapon/no FOID and reckless discharge of a firearm.
