PEORIA (25 News Now) - Five women have been arrested after an alleged incident of aggravated battery and robbery.

Peoria Police say officers were called at around 8:53 a.m. Tuesday to the 3800 block of North Columbus Avenue and approached by a woman who said she was physically attacked by five women and had items taken from inside her vehicle.

The victim told police she gave chase and crashed into the suspect vehicle on Adams and Woodlawn.

Police say one suspect had non-life-threatening injuries. The following five were arrested for various offenses:

  • Latticia L. Carter was arrested for Theft and Mob Action.
  • Danyelle A. Collins was arrested for Aggravated Battery, Mob Action and for an active warrant on file.
  • Chantazea S. Roebuck was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Mob Action.
  • Miyana A. Garner was arrested for Burglary to a Motor Vehicle, Mob Action and Aggravated Battery.
  • Marquisha D. Friend was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Mob Action.
