PEORIA (25 News Now) - Today is the first full day of fall and Mother Nature got the memo! It was a cool end to the work week with highs only in the 60s. We’ll see scattered showers this evening and tonight, but we’ll dry out and warm up a little this weekend.

This Evening and Tonight:

Expect cloudy skies throughout the rest of the day with a chance for isolated to scattered showers. Not everyone will see rain, but if you do it shouldn’t be too heavy or last too long.

We may see a few passing showers during high school football games, but otherwise it’ll be cloudy and cool with kick off temperatures near 60.

A few light showers will be possible later this evening and into early tonight.

Any showers will come to an end overnight with lows tomorrow falling back into the low 50s.

This Weekend:

We’ll see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies this weekend. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s tomorrow and mid 70s on Sunday.

A few isolated showers may be possible late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, but we should be dry during the daytime.

Next Week:

Dry and cool weather will continue next week. Highs will drop into the 60s for the first half of the week before rebounding into the mid 70s by the end of the week.

At this point, we are not expecting any rain chances next week.
