BLOOMINGTON (25 News Now) -Three people are looking for a place to stay after an early morning apartment fire in Bloomington.

According to a news release, firefighters were called to the scene of 3 Keisha Dr. around 12:40 a.m. Monday morning for a report of a building fire. They arrived around 12:46 a.m. to find a second floor apartment was on fire with one person still inside.

The victim was located at the second floor window and fire crews rescued him by ladder. They promptly transported him to a nearby hospital. As of Monday morning his medical condition is unknown.

The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes.

Crews remained on scene until 2:15 a.m. performing salvage efforts and assisting residents. Estimated damages have not been released.
