Over 200 grams of crack cocaine seized in Peoria arrest

PEORIA (25 News Now) - A man was arrested and more than 200 grams of crack cocaine was seized after police executed a search warrant at a Peoria home Thursday afternoon.
53-year-old Mikeren D. Turner was arrested for Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
Just after 12:30 p.m., Peoria Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 1800 block of West Callender Avenue - near North Cooper Street - for the illegal sale of drugs.
Police say during the investigation, they saw Turner, the suspect in the case, leave the residence.
Officers followed Turner to a second location and took him into custody without incident.
They then searched the home on West Callender and seized more than 200 grams of crack cocaine.
Turner is still in jail and his bond is currently undetermined.
