PEORIA (25 News Now) - Most unvaccinated students, faculty and staff at Illinois State University will no longer have to test weekly for COVID-19.
The university says healthcare workers and K-12 staff who are not fully vaccinated are to participate in the on-campus COVID-19 testing program at least once every seven calendar days until becoming fully vaccinated and vaccination records are on file with Student Health Services.
This includes those assigned to ISU healthcare settings and lab schools, including students and student workers.
Asymptomatic testing remains available through July 29. Testing options after July 29 will be communicated at a later date, the university said.
