MORTON (25 News Now) - A new art center is having a grand opening Friday. Organizers say it will feature all things creative, from ceramics and musical artists to business entrepreneurs.

The center is called Muse, and it is located at 71 East Queenswood Road. The grand opening is scheduled from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., with a ribbon cutting set for 4:30.

Visitors can expect to meet the co-owners Katie and Ben Vandenberg, while taking part in many of the festivities that day.

The Vandenbergs say they are excited to share the space with the community, and share what makes it unique.

“What I think sets it apart from maybe other galleries or other spaces is that we have artists right here and have the ability to peek into an artist’s room and see what the artist may be working on,” Vandenberg said.

Ben says he will host fun activities to explore your creative side or try something new in a fun group project.

Visitors can also take part in giveaways, adult beverages and yummy treats.
