High School Saturday - Illini Bluffs softball wins 1A State Title, plus postseason baseball

PEORIA (25 News Now) - The Illini Bluffs Tigers won their second-straight IHSA Class 1A State Softball Title on Saturday 1-0 in nine innings over Casey-Westfield.
The Tigers got a walk-off RBI single from Lilly Hicks that scored Kristen Graham to win the game in the bottom of the ninth.
Senior pitcher Kierston McCoy took a no-hitter into the ninth inning for Illini Bluffs. She finished the game with 1 hit and 3 strikeouts in the game.
Also Saturday, Pontiac falls to Tolono Unity in the IHSA 2A State third place game.
In baseball, Washington defeats Morton to win the IHSA 3A Washington Sectional. Also, LeRoy falls in the IHSA 1A State third place game.
