Super duo make surprise appearance outside windows of OSF Children’s Hospital

PEORIA (WEEK) - It wasn’t a bird or a plane but Batman and Captain America outside cleaning windows at OSF Children’s Hospital in Peoria on Monday.
The superhero duo surprised the kids this morning when they looked outside their windows.
25 News caught up with the dynamic duo after one of their descents and they said putting on the costume while cleaning the windows gives them their superpowers.
“It’s fun to bring joy and stuff to kids who might not otherwise have a good situation to look forward to,” Steve Rogers, as Captain America, said. “It feels me with a lot of joy too and it makes me quite happy by the end of the day.”
“I locked most of them up, so I figured come here and come say hi to the kids they really like so we’ve been doing this quite a bit now so we keep coming back because they like it so much,” said Rhett Winford, as Batman.
