UPDATE: 3:58 P.M. - The City of Washington says a second water main break means another boil order for the same area as yesterday.

The affected areas are listed below:

  • Washington Road from CEFCU to School Street
  • North on School Street including Countryside and Faith Lutheran Church to Ragan Court
  • South on School Street up to 1117 School Street up to but NOT including Beverly Manor School
  • Includes Kennedy Court

UPDATE Friday, 12:42 P.M. - The boil has been lifted.

WASHINGTON (WEEK) - Parts of Washington are under a boil order until further notice after a water main break.

The city said the main break happened in front of CEFCU, west of Legion Road. Crews have repaired the break, and water has been restored, but water must be boiled in the following areas:

  • Washington Road from CEFCU to School Street
  • North on School Street including Countryside and Faith Lutheran Church to Ragan Court
  • South on School Street up to 1117 School Street up to but NOT including Beverly Manor School
  • Includes Kennedy Court
