Bradley University easing mask requirements; still required in classrooms

PEORIA (25 NEWS) - As the indoor mask requirement for most places in Illinois is soon to be relaxed, Bradley University is following suit, effective Monday, February 28, according to a release.
Starting Monday, masks will only be required in:
- Classrooms and labs
- Health and Counseling Services
- BUPD Safety Cruiser
- University events when requested by a speaker or performer
- In a private office or residence, if the occupants request it
“We need to support individuals who choose to wear masks even where they aren’t required,” the release said. “Individuals should be comfortable wearing a mask and be free from pressures or harassment. Let’s continue to support each other as we navigate through these changes.”
There continue to be N95 masks available at the Markin Center control desk, Student Center info desk, Bradley Health Services, Bradley Bookstore, and the library. Masks are available during regular business hours, which vary by location, while supplies last.
