PEORIA (25 News) - Tuesday, February 22, 2022, is a Palindrome! That means you can write the date forwards and backward, 2/22/22. Also, if you write the date in the international format, it also applies, 22/02/2022.

A Palindrome is something that can be written forwards and backward and they occur in dates, equations, biology, and literature. According to Renae Kerrigan, Curator of Science and Director of Planetarium at the Peoria Riverfront Museum, today being a Palindrome, besides adding a bit of whimsy to what would be normally a dull February Tuesday, today being a Palindrome does not affect our daily lives in any way.

“Today is TWOsday and it’s happening on a Tuesday how fun so today, of course, February 22, 2022, is a palindrome. If you write the date as 2/22/22. It’s the same backward and forwards” Said Kerrigan.

The next true Palindrome Day does not occur for eleven years, March 3, 2033.
