Victim identified after Bloomington’s first homicide of 2022

BLOOMINGTON (25 NEWS) - The victim of Bloomington’s first homicide of the year has been identified.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder has identified the victim as Timothy Q. Manns, 29, of Bloomington.
He was pronounced deceased at 8:45 p.m. Monday.
According to a release, a preliminary autopsy opinion indicates that Manns died from a gunshot wound.
Toxicology is pending.
The incident remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the Bloomington Police Department.
Police were called to the area of West Jefferson and Oak at around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
