Marquette Heights (25 NEWS) - A church in Marquette Heights spent their snowy Saturday giving back to the community with a food pantry.

Bridgeway Church gives out food to anyone who comes by every third Saturday.

Members of the church says it’s for anyone no questions asked.

All visitors have to do is tell them how many people are in the family.

Midwest Food Bank, Peoria Food Bank and the community all pitch in to donate food.

Food pantry director Adrienne Arnold said it’s a blessing to see the community come together to help those in need.

“[It’s] just amazing, the outpouring every single month,” Arnold said.

“I could not ask for better. The Lord really does provide,” she added.

Bridgeway Church also has a blessing box just outside where people can get essential items for free at any time.
