Cold now, but warming up this week

PEORIA (25 NEWS) - Bundle up! Temperatures have fallen to their coldest values of the Fall season this morning, with widespread teens across central Illinois. Gradual warming will occur today, but highs are only project to top out in the upper 20s and low 30s. Cloudy skies will be overhead today, with periods of passing flurries possible.

A warming trend begins tomorrow, with highs climbing into the low 40s. 50s will follow for Thursday, with temperatures set to make a run towards the low 60s Friday. Unfortunately, the warmer air will be accompanied by likely rain to close the work week.
