MORTON (25 NEWS) - For fans of Aldi who live in and close to Morton -- you won’t have to travel far to get your groceries

The new Morton Aldi store hosted a ribbon-cutting Thursday morning in front of dozens of customers ready to shop.

Morton’s store features a brand new design -- one of three that will be built with this design until next year.

The company offers affordable groceries, self-serve checkout -- and famously -- a quarter in, quarter back cart system.

“They want the Aldi’s,” said Morton Mayor Jeff Kaufman. “They want the product and the affordable products.”

“Courtland Street is kind of like the new Main Street of Morton. We got it right here next to Farm and Fleet. Morton loves their Farm and Fleet. We got all these got the car washes you got won’t you Walmart we got their one-stop shopping for the community so the location couldn’t be better.”
