PEORIA (25 NEWS) - The largest indoor farm show is back in the River City this week.

Celebrating 40 years of agriculture, the annual event hosts hundreds of exhibitors, representing over 100,000 product lines and services.

It dates back to 1982 and has brought in more than 600,000 visitors to the Peoria Civic Center.

“This is an industry where we are always learning,” said Vermont, Illinois farmer Joe Marshall. “We are always trying to find the leading edge to make ourselves more successful.”

“I think it’s incredible that farmers can kinda come together and not just look at the advances in technology and ways to plan and planting in 2022-- but then come together and talk about everything they’ve gone through,” said J.D. Dalfonso, Discover Peoria president and CEO.

The three-day event ends Thursday. It runs from 9-4 p.m. at the Peoria Civic Center.
