PEORIA (25 NEWS) - Bundle up if heading out to do some shopping early this morning, as temperature have dipped into the teens, with wind chills as cold as the single digits at times. Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 30s this afternoon, but sub-freezing wind chills are expected for much of the day. Mostly sunny this morning, with some clouds working in for the second half of the day.

Seasonal air returns this weekend, with highs in the 40s both Saturday and Sunday. A fast moving clipper system will bring the chance for a few isolated showers Saturday, however the majority of the area is expected to remain dry. The upcoming work week will feature highs in the upper 40s and low 50s, with plenty of sunshine!
