Peoria homicide victim suffered multiple stab wounds, coroner says

PEORIA (25 NEWS) - A man found dead early Tuesday suffered multiple stab wounds, and his death is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Peoria County coroner.

Coroner Jamie Harwood identified the victim as Rolando William Westbrook, 37, of Peoria, who was found in the 700 block of NE Jefferson Avenue just before 4 a.m.

An autopsy shows Westbrook likely died instantly from the stab wounds.

There have been no arrests.
